A home for experimental arts practice on the Sunshine Coast.
Since 2021, LANTANA Space has hosted a dynamic program of exhibitions, performances, gigs, workshops and public events. Alongside six dedicated studio spaces where artists create, test and evolve.
We centre experimental, process-driven practice and create inclusive opportunities for artists to develop and share their work. Our focus is on what happens behind the scenes: the experiments, conversations, false starts and unexpected turns that make creative work meaningful.
We welcome both emerging and established artists working across disciplines to exhibit and create within our space. Prioritising real-time creative exchange, collaboration and critical dialogue over polished outcomes.
LANTANA Space was founded by artists Jordyn Burnett, Ebony Busk, Warwick Gow and Coen Keyte as a socially conscious, collaborative, artist-run initiative. In July 2025, the project was handed to artist Jamie Davidson, continuing its original ethos while opening space for new voices, ideas and directions.
LANTANA Space is:
An events space
A creative community
An invasive weed
Meet the Team
